An alternative learning experience, for families who think beyond the ordinary.
Located in beautiful Nosara, Costa Rica, our arts-based learning community welcomes children ages 5–14 (Kindergarten - 8th grade) into a vibrant, imaginative environment where they are encouraged to explore, create, and confidently express themselves.
Nosara Playhouse is for families looking for a more creative, flexible and human approach to learning. Children learn in small groups, build strong relationships with their teachers and peers, and explore academics through projects, discussion, creativity and real-world experiences. By blending strong academics and social-emotional learning with Montessori principles and Theater in Education, we nurture the whole child, intellectually, socially, and creatively.

Our program includes Spanish classes, while most instruction is provided in English.
